Triangle tube
Here’s another from Diane Fitzgerald’s Zulu Inspired Beadwork, the triangle tube. I apparently didn’t get the step-up right, as it’s twisting. However, I like it this way, so on I go! I wonder if this is how Leslie Frasier did her first twisted herringbone, a fortuitous mistake?
The purple, green, and clear are French lusters, and the corner beads are alternating gold-plated charlottes and pink Czech true cuts. Looks like spring!

I think I like the twisting version better than the one in the book, too.
I think Diane recommends twisting it to wear, so it would be the same effect — but I built it in. On purpose, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Hi Dulcey,
It’s lovely! I like the colors you chose and I like it twisted.
Thanks, Saby! Building in the twist keeps it a little more even. For the sake of knowing, I *should* figure out how to do that step up the right way though….
Ooohh!! It’s nice! Very, very interesant! Thank you and congratulation!!!
Thank you! I like the effect, and I love these beads!
