In my continuing occasional series of vacation jewelry, here’s earrings made of subway tokens from Toronto. For a visit in 2019, I calculated the number of times I would use the subway, and the least expensive way to make that happen was to buy tokens. I ended up needing two fewer tokens than I planned, as I did (even more) walking. So, earrings! The tokens are tiny, under 20 mm, and light. They may be made of aluminum.

I started them shortly after returning from my trip, and completed one. As we all know, the second earring is the challenge. Challenge completed!
