Embellishing one small rock from Lake Superior’s shores… I am providing this as part of a gift basket for a silent auction, with the theme of Minnesota.
This vase is made of myrtle wood – I liked the greenish tone of the wood with these pretty red luster beads. I need to buy more transparent lusters, I’m infatuated with this bead finish right now.
Actually, I discovered two ways that don’t work for a beaded bead. I think I can probably find more! I like the dodecahedron, but I can barely wedge the needle into the 8s. I can’t fight it for all the rest of the sides.
