It’s done!  The finished length is 17″, with another two inches available with the sterling chain at the back.  The clasp is also sterling, and the stained glass components are made by Carol Dosse using lead-free solder.  The back pendant showcases lampwork by Laurie B. The right side is done!  And I’ve made two of the six fans of bugle beads needed for the left.  I hope to be done and have it mailed by Friday.

I made the pendant!  And actually, more of the necklace as well.  I have to take a break from it now to prep a class I’m teaching.  Of course I have to quit, now that I have momentum.  I think that’s just how it goes….

The front is assembled!  The rose montees aren’t glued on, but this is where I’m going to place them.  The beads left to use, as at least one of each bead in the kit must be used, are the 3mm jonquil Swarovski, the black hex beads, and the lampwork.  All will incorporated into the back…

I’ve made a couple more fans, and did some temporary stringing.  This is the general idea, with fans of beads and these stained glass components.  I’ll likely reverse the fans so that the wide side is nearest the pendant.  The fans incorporate different colors of size 11 seed beads, and I’ll try various layouts to…
