Clasp – or ring!
I made a bracelet, and I’m rather tired of having pieces around without clasps, so the above is a clasp intended for a loop closure. I’ve always admired Mortira’s clasps, from Inspirational Beading – this Blue Summer Stripe Necklace is an excellent example. If the clasp doesn’t work, it would be a great ring!

Bead Around the World 2012
A lot of people had conflicts this year, so our group was only five beaders. Furnace glass ring
I recently saw the instructions for this ring, and decided to make one of my own. The instructions are in Russian (right?), but the pictures are sufficient. I think the instructions are by Tanya.
Lavender right angle weave bead
Here’s what I hope will be a fun gift for a fellow beader: a right angle weave bead for her to embellish (or not). I left the thread tails so that additional thread passes won’t pull trimmed ends through. It’s 1″ in diameter – using a clear plastic bead makes it very lightweight, though.
