Shopping at the surplus store
I was at the local surplus store, and picked up a few O-rings to play with. I’ve beaded with rubber gaskets (which I published as a Beadwork article), and seeing these reminded me of other artists who have beaded using rubber; Leslie Rogalski comes to mind. Knotting….
This was a nice little project. I’ve only knotted a couple of times, it’s kind of a nice project to do. I have a friend who strings the beads, then will sit in front of the television with a needle and knots while “watching.” I used a needle too, to pull the knots down next…
