Shiny is my favorite color, part one
I took pictures of this show, just ended at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Nine area artists showed their interpretations of “shiny” in a mixed-media exhibit. The exhibit features more than 70 works ranging from metal and glass (beads!), to art books and textiles. I will be covering this in two parts…
Sylvia’s sautoir
Look at this lovely necklace I received as a gift from Sylvia Sur! There is copper chain between the beads (a perfect complement), which I’ve pooled into piles between the beads – so you can simply admire these beautiful beaded beads.
