Nail polish pendants
Check these out! Susan of Sweeter Lemon has a tutorial on how to make these faux dichroic pendants out of glass tiles and nail polish. I had no idea there was such a thing as shatter nail polish — this is a great idea. I followed instructions, except I used Krylon to seal the back. I have glued silver-plated brass bails on a few of these, and will perhaps bezel a few with seed beads. This is a quick and easy project, an excellent quick gift for someone.

I’m so glad you enjoyed the tutorial! Your pendants are fabulous – I love those colors!
Thank you for sharing your tutorial! They are very striking, and a lot of fun. I’m wearing a purple one now. 🙂
These are really cool Dulcey. I use this shatter nail polish on my nails, but never thought of this application. Clever!
Susan had a great idea, didn’t she? I hope to bezel one with seed beads soon; I’ll post that too.
