The latest issue of Piecework, an Interweave Press publication, caught my eye yesterday. Tambour embroidery is on the cover! And the article is by Bob Haven, who has commented on tambour beading posts on this blog. He writes of its history and basic technique, tambour hook and stitches, fabrics and frames. A project article follows, a tambour embroidered scarf. The issue is on newstands now, or available as a purchased single issue in print or electronically.
