Herringbonekette, step 1
I haven’t had too much beading time lately, but I was able to work on Ute’s instructions for a couple of repetitions. It results in a quite stiff rope — spiral herringbone does that — and I really like how the sections with cubes accent it. The lined beads work well for highlighting the spiral.

Oh the blue glass of the lined beads seems to pick up the blue of the larger accent beads. Looks really pretty.
Thanks, Sylvia! I always expect to make seed bead projects with beads on hand (I should have what I need!), and this was literally the last bead I tried. It does work pretty well. I’m going to have to figure out a clasp – maybe some sort of beaded cap and a pretty hook?
