Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) beadwork blog
I recently found a blog about historic Haudenosaunee and Wabanaki beadwork, featuring the beadwork made for the tourist trade by the Niagara Falls area tribes in the 1800s. Historic Iroquois and Wabanaki Beadwork is written by Gerry Biron, and includes many examples of beadwork. I always enjoy seeing these pieces on display in museums — now I can see some in my feed reader as well.

I saw this the other day when I was looking for Iroquois tutorials, gorgeous beading!
I agree – and I’d love to see Biron’s personal collection of pieces!
