Carol, my friend who makes stained glass, made this pendant for me for Christmas. I love it! I received a foam kumihimo loom for Christmas, and tried it Christmas day. After making 8-strand round braid sample with the yarn provided in the kumihimo kit, I looked at my small stash of cotton embroidery floss for something that would work with the pendant. This is an 8-strand hollow braid. I see at least three mistakes (which thankfully aren’t that noticeable with this small diameter), and the tension isn’t consistent, but I can tell this is going to be a fun addition to beading. I’m likely going to run out of floss before it’s necklace length, so it will have a beaded rope section as well.
