Vintage Japanese cab pendant
With permanent galvanized Tohos! These are both of the pinks – I like the look of the matte, especially. And I did manage to photograph some of the flash in the cab; they’re interesting pieces of glass.
Indicolite pendant
Here’s some 6mm Indicolite Swarovski bicones, highlighted in a right angle weave pendant:
Herringbonekette, step 1
I haven’t had too much beading time lately, but I was able to work on Ute’s instructions for a couple of repetitions. It results in a quite stiff rope — spiral herringbone does that — and I really like how the sections with cubes accent it. The lined beads work well for highlighting the spiral.
Herringbonekette mit Würfelchen
I have instructions for this necklace from the German crochet bead forum Perlenhaekeln. Sylvia, a friend of mine, forwarded me their newsletter at the end of last year. I like to have a portable project ready to go – and Beading for a Cure usually isn’t – so I opened it up to retrieve this…
Lace leaf chain, finished
I like it! I reserve the right to change the clasp to a better one as it comes along. The design is from Diane Fitzgerald’s Zulu Inspired Beadwork. The stained glass was made into a pendant by Carol Dosse, using lead-free solder.
