Kristin, a lovely person who runs a Waldorf preschool, visited my booth at the St. Louis Park Art Fair in September, and invited me to participate in a small holiday show she has at her preschool in Minneapolis. Earrings and lavender sachets were the most popular, so I’ve made more of both – and I made a lot of sachets. The pictured earrings are a design of mine that was published in Bead & Button. I’m hoping I have time this week to also try a couple of ideas I have with a bit of fabric I wove earlier this fall. There will be seven of us there, featuring a variety of locally handmade goods including children’s toys, hand knit and handwoven items, jewelry, wall art, holiday goodies, mosaics, ceramics, and letterpress cards.
