I have been working on this gift recently as well; I didn’t want to post it until it was received, just in case the online picture was viewed before the present was opened. The picture leaves a lot to be desired — the vase is white ceramic, and the bead is a very, very light translucent blue. It’s one of those colors that looks fabulous in a tube, but looks essentially clear when used, and I have a lot of it. Against the white vase, the delicate blue does show up, which I will have to remember. There are also some Swarovski and fresh water pearls, and I like the texture I was able to get out of this combination of stitches.
