A Pyramid of Hand Towels

I wanted to give individual gifts to a group of people. I have given many of them my beadwork in the past. This time, I wanted to give a handwoven item.
This is likely the longest warp I have ever created. After weaving, I had 8 1/4 yards of handwoven material. After washing and drying twice, first in cold water, and then in warm water, I had 7 1/3 yards of material, and lost 2” in width. Here are the ten cotton hand towels I made.

It is very, very hard to resist a sunspot when you live in a northern climate, and it is often gray during the winter.

Without the sunspot. I think my next warp will be a belt for me…
