On January 6-9, mathematical art will be on display in New Orleans at the Joint Mathematics Meetings Exhibition of Mathematical Art. I think this would be great fun to see! I see wood, metal, plastic, paper — and beads! Gwen Fisher will have beaded ionic polyhedra on display, 12 beads from 11mm to 33mm in size. The exhibit will be at the New Orleans Marriott.
